Summer 2012

This summer God has opened the door for me to intern at Kirkwood Baptist Church in Bozeman, Montana.  I am excited to have the opportunity to light a fire for the Lord in the hearts of those in Bozeman.  I will be helping with VBS, Backyard Bible Club, Sunday morning activities, mission teams that come to serve, and other recreation and children's ministry opportunities.  I leave Nashville May 20 and am getting all the last minute tasks here in Nashville taken care of.  Living out of a suitcase and having much of my stuff in storage definitely makes life interesting, but the Lord has blessed my life beyond words and I am excited to see Him at work!

"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me." Luke 9:23

Please pray God would continue to prepare the hearts of the people of Bozeman to hear and respond to His Word!

Honduras Mission Trip Report

"The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save." -Zephaniah 3:17

Mission Trip Final Report:
It was an unbelievable week in Honduras!  We were Ignite Missions' third team into the villages we served.  We saw 33 kids accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior in Llanos Largo, Yashe and Buenos Aires villages where we did VBS all week about four hours outside of Tegucigalpa.  We got to see in Yashe, a village with no passable road to it, running water or electricity, that God provides what they need off of the land.  We also had a "feeding the 5000" type of experience with the church service at Yashe where there is no way we should have had enough food to serve all the people there, but had an abundance left over - we serve an awesome God.  We also found a piece of land in Llanos Largo that would be perfect to build a church so please be praying for what God will do there. After four days of ministry we made the trek back to Tegucigalpa and had a sight seeing day and then got to go to a church service in Corralitos - the village the Honduras team served at in 2010 and 2011.  They bused people from the nearby villages of Piliguine and Trojes and there were almost 200 people there!  After being the first team ever into those villages in 2010, to returning in 2011 to the church built, to this year seeing God's presence and a thriving church - there are no words that can describe how strong the presence of God was and how hungry the people are for God's Word!  What a week, thank you so much everyone for your prayers - they were felt!
