“How beautiful
on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace,
who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, ‘Your God
Reigns.’”
–Isaiah 52:7
Upcoming Mission Trip to Nicaragua:
From
March 10-19 I have the opportunity to travel with a team of 17 from Bozeman,
Montana to Managua, Nicaragua in partnership with Project H.O.P.E. This is the
second year in a row I will have the opportunity to serve there and I am so
excited to see all that He has in store!
You will also be able to follow the trip through our team's blog updates at 2nica2serve.blogspot.com while we are there!
Also,
our team really appreciates your prayers as we know nothing can be accomplished
apart from Him! Here are some specific ways to pray leading up to and while we
are on the trip:
· * Pray for team members (Victoria, Tim
& Joanna, Grace, Pat & Gerry,
Eli, Amber, Craig, Kristi, Vale, Konnor, Quinton and McKinlee, Macy, Dore and
Tricia) – that each would be spiritually prepared for the journey ahead.
· * Pray for the Lord to open opportunities
to share Christ with people we will encounter as we travel.
· * Pray for the missionaries and pastors that
the team will be serving alongside – that we would be an encouragement to them
and that they would persevere in the work that God has called them to.
· * Pray that God would prepare the hearts
of those we come in contact with to hear and respond to the gospel message.
· * Pray for team unity – that as others
look at our team they would see Christ’s power displayed.
· * Pray for perseverance amidst spiritual
warfare.
· * Pray for hearts that are willing to be
flexible and teachable on the trip.
· * Pray that we would be faithful as a team
in preparation to go.
· * Pray that the Lord would raise up others
to come alongside us to pray for and support the trip.
· * Pray for the health, safety and travel
of the team.
· * Pray for the translators – that the
message would be effectively communicated through them.
· * Pray that we would be able to see with
spiritual eyes on the trip, be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and
that we would be bold in sharing our faith.
· * Pray for those who surrender their lives
to Christ to be discipled so that they may go on to share their faith with
others.
· * Pray that revival would come to the
villages in which we serve.
· *Pray that God would be glorified through
EVERY aspect of the trip.

EPIC Youth Ministries
EPIC Youth Ministries
On February 21 the high school youth group led
service at New Beginnings Church. They led the worship songs, four of the
students spoke about how the Lord has grown and challenged them and then our male youth leader Tim
gave the remainder of the message. It was absolutely one of the neatest
ministry opportunities I have ever had the privilege of being a part of. Words cannot adequately describe how much I love each of the youth in the group. It was
almost a year to the day from where we kicked off the high school youth ministry (and then the middle school ministry soon thereafter) and
it has been such a blessing doing life with these students and seeing God working in and through them, as well as us leaders in the process!
Here is a video that includes a clip and music from that day and pictures from over the past year: https://youtu.be/_hqkwmHhbLk

Please pray for the Lord to continue to use
our time together and for students lives to be transformed by the power of the gospel.
EPIC Ski Day |
Heritage Christian
We just finished up basketball season. It has been
quite a year of sports at Heritage. Our basketball teams made history by making
it the first year both the boys and girls were represented at the State
Tournament. The boys also matched the best result in school history, finishing 3rd,
when they won their final three games in unbelievable fashion (54-51 in OT,
51-49 on two free throws with 4.7 seconds left and then 43-42 on a lay-up with
two seconds left). More than anything, however, I just love our coaches and the
kids who desire to honor the Lord in how they compete. It shows up in their
attitude, character, demeanor and huge hearts on the court.
Another huge blessing of being around the Montana Christian Athletic Association the past few years now has been the chance to develop relationships with players and families and coaches and athletic directors in the other schools across the state. I had the opportunity to travel this past weekend to be with a few of those I have gotten to know well for a Sunday to worship and fellowship together - it was such a blessed, encouraging time - and we have also been discussing running Christian summer sports camps together ... so neat to see how the Lord's plans are greater than our own.
After spring break we will be moving into track and
golf season at Heritage which will also be fun! J
Between serving as the AD, teaching,
taking online seminary class from Liberty University and working with the
middle and high school youth groups, life is full but oh so very blessed. I cannot wait to see where He continues to lead!
God is good!
